There’s nothing more romantic than walking around a gallery in silence whilst holding somebody’s hand and taking in all of the creative genius that stands before you.
So, if you only have the opportunity to do one thing this weekend – HEAD TO THE TATE MODERN to see Matisse: The Cut Outs. It’s the last chance you’ll be able to see the works on display in London as after this weekend most of the cut outs will head to MoMA in New York, with some being so fragile that they won’t be on display to the public again.
The best thing is that this weekend the Tate is open for 36 hours straight, opening its doors from 10am on the morning of Saturday the 6th of September and not closing them until 10pm on the evening of Sunday the 7th. So, why not go at 6am, live life to the fullest and be completely spontaneous by watching the sunrise!
And, if walking around the gallery itself isn’t romantic enough – there’ll be Matisse inspired food available at the restaurant with late-night snacks available from 23.00 until 5.00. There’ll also be a Brew Dog pop-up bar in the Turbine Hall open until 10pm for those of you wanting a quiet one.
So, find somebody to go with, grab your tickets here and enjoy something unique.
