Halloween is done, so we can all lick our wounds and scrub the fake blood off our clothes for at least another 12 months. So, whilst doing that – check out this week’s cool London date ideas!

5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week!

ONE. The “NACHO Average” Date

Still craving that dress-up, make-up, fake blood type of thing? Wahaca is hosting its awesome “Day of the Dead Fiesta at the Vaults” on 3, 4, 5 of November. Wahaca is always a great first date in general…. This one might be better for a second or third.

TWO. The “Light my FIRE” Date

Want sparks to fly on a first date? Ummmmm…… Who doesn’t? Watch the fireworks at Ally Pally for Bonfire Night on the 4th/5th of November. What better way to fake yawn and put your arm around somebody?

THREE.  The “nICE” Date

Yep, ice skating rinks are back! You might think it’s a great date idea – but think about it long and hard before you spend the evening holding onto the side and falling on your arse every 5 minutes. Not a good look. Anyway, the Natural History Museum’s rink is already up and running if you want to take the plunge.

Four. The “strEAT” Date

Everyone in London loves to discover something new – if only to tell their friends they went there when it first opened and it was so much better then. Anyway, cool Madrid restaurant StreetXO opened this week in Mayfair and is great for a relaxed first date of food and drinks.

The “Great stART” Date (my pick)

One for the cultured amongst us. The London International Arts Festival is happening over 5 nights at 5 different venues with (my) pick of the bunch being at the Rich Mix in Shoreditch on Friday evening. Expect cool live music including jazz, reggae and drum’n’bass!
