5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week
It’s Halloween week, so if you’re ever going to “ghost” somebody this is the week to do it…. That was in really bad taste. Sorry. Anyway here are this week’s 5 cool London date ideas.
The “Don’t Leave Me Hanging” Date
Do something crafty together. Ok, making a macrame wall hanging with the London Craft Club may not be a rollercoaster ride of thrills but at least you’ll have a souvenir at the end of it no matter how good or bad the was.
The “Super” Date
It’s London Comic Con this weekend! Yep, donning a pair of Spock ears and quoting Star Trek has never been more sexy. It’ll definitely bring out the big kid in both of you.
The “Don’t Wine” Date (my pick of the week)
Argentina is famous for many things…. wine food, dancing, Maradona’s blatant “Hand of God” goal against England in 1986. Catch all of those things (maybe not the whole Maradona thing) at the uber-cool Barullo in Hoxton. It’s only on until the 28th – so don’t miss out!
The “Have a Ball” Date
Halloween is a bit hit and miss when it comes to taking a date. One of the coolest parties is definitely the “A Curious Invitation” 7 deadly sins ball happening on Friday night at The Coronet in Elephant and Castle. I’ve been before and it’s an absolute blast. You will have to put some effort into your costumes though as this party is not one done in halves!
The “In the Market” Date
Based on the popular version in Torino, Italy – Mercato Metropolitano is filled with food stalls, classes and live music. You’ll be able to eat pizza and drink wine whilst getting to know each other in a cool, relaxed environment.
